Delicious pulses

Tasty, like a cross between a lentil and a chickpea. Nice to hear that they’re a traditional British dish too, “parched peas”. I just soaked, then cooked in the pressure cooker, served with roasted vegetables.

Great bonfire treat, also known as black peas. Add a little stock while cooking and a little vinegar to taste after!
