Nutritionist Dale Pinnock, aka the Medicinal Chef, has dedicated 26 years of his life to nutrition and its study and application. Like many, he found nutrition due to his own health problems. Suffering from acne from around the age of ten, he tried every lotion potion and prescription available. Then, aged 15 he was given a book called 'Fit For Life' and told 'you have to change what is on the inside'. He read it cover to cover and that was it. He then became obsessed with reading books on the subject, and trying every diet you could think of. Aged 22 Dale did a BSc in Human Nutrition and a second BSc in Herbal Medicine at the University of Westminster. After a few years in practice this was followed by a Post Graduate Degree in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey.
Fast forward a good few years and Dale is one of the most well-known, well-respected nutritionists out there. He’s a Sunday Times best-selling author of 18 books that are published in 19 languages in 22 countries. He’s a regular spokesperson on nutrition and health in the British media and regularly appears on shows such as ITV's This Morning, Lorraine, and is a presenter on ITV's hit consumer show 'Eat Shop Save'. He’s also a regular on radio and has often featured on the likes of Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 2, Chris Evans Show on Virgin Radio, talkRADIO, BBC Three Counties and more.
In Dale’s own words: “I have one purpose. To bring you accessible, understandable, evidence-based information on nutrition so that you can take back control of your health!”
