Hazel Clarke is a published consultant dietitian, with a special interest in plant-based diets and gut health.
Hazel started her dietetic career as a Research Dietitian at Kings’ College London, where she worked on two published research papers in inflammatory bowel disease. She then went on to develop her clinical gastroenterology experience at Imperial Trust, London and later worked at both the Manchester Royal Infirmary and Royal Liverpool Trust.
Hazel became a fully trained FODMAP dietitian after completing her training at King’s College London. This training equipped her with comprehensive knowledge and skills in how to implement the low FODMAP diet effectively, giving her the ability to empower clients to achieve lasting relief from their IBS symptoms.
Following this, Hazel founded her own private consultancy business in 2022 – HC Dietetics – which specialises in gastroenterology conditions, such as IBS and IBD. She also has a special interest in plant-based diets and their connection to gut health and overall health.
