“The gummies were developed for those looking to support both their physical and mental wellbeing, factors that can influence sexual health,” says Valerie.
"The formulation includes vitamins B6 and B12, which support the nervous system, psychological function and help combat tiredness and fatigue,” says Valerie, listing a few of the ingredients and explaining why some made the cut. 2, 3

How are stress and libido linked?
Valerie cites some emerging research by Emily Nagoski, PhD and leading expert in sexual health, which highlights that stress can act as a “turn-off”. In other words, feeling stressed outside of the bedroom may lead to not feeling in the mood when you’re in it.6
“Dr Nagoski’s work emphasises that sexual inhibition in women is often triggered by stress, anxiety or negative emotions, which disrupt the body's natural sexual arousal. This can lead to a reduced libido and difficulty experiencing sexual satisfaction,” adds Valerie.
When would you recommend taking the Turn Me On gummies?
“Our gummies are best taken continuously, as part of a daily routine, to help support areas of sexual health such as fertility and reproduction,” Valerie states.
Do men and women need different libido supplements?
Good news – according to Valerie – men, women and non-binary folk could potentially benefit from the gummies.
“While some ingredients in the gummies, such as vitamins and adaptogens, could support everyone with energy, focus and overall wellness, it’s important to recognise the unique, sex-specific biological mechanisms that underlie sexuality.
“As Dr Nagoski explains in her work on human sexuality, male and female libidos often function differently due to the distinct roles of biological, psychological and social factors. Male sexual desire tends to be more spontaneous, driven by physiological mechanisms like testosterone levels and visual stimuli," says Valerie.
“In contrast, female libido can be more responsive, influenced by emotional context, relationship dynamics and stress levels. Dr Nagoski emphasises that women’s desire can be easily inhibited by stress, fatigue or negative emotional states, making psychological wellbeing key to addressing female libido.7
“By including vitamins that combat fatigue and support hormonal balance, the formulation addresses both shared and sex–specific factors. However, understanding these differences is essential when using supplements to support libido, as the underlying mechanisms and contributing factors for men and women can differ significantly.”
In addition, individual recommendations should be informed by a person’s specific health needs. It’s important to consult a healthcare provider before starting any supplement, especially for those with underlying health conditions, hormonal imbalances or those taking medication.

What kind of feedback have you had to the product?
Has it been love at first bite? We ask Valerie. “We’ve received largely positive feedback,” she shares.
“The only negative feedback has come from individuals who expected the results of a holistic formulation to mirror those of fast-acting solutions like Viagra. However, this expectation contradicts the inherent nature of holistic formulations, which aim to address the deeper, underlying factors affecting libido rather than providing an immediate, short-term fix.
“In short, the most effective support for intimacy depends on identifying the root cause of reduced libido.”

Valerie shares: “For example, magnesium has several beneficial effects. With better rest and relaxation, the mind and body are more open to intimacy.8
“Zinc (also in the gummies) plays a key role in balancing hormones and supporting sexual health by aiding testosterone production. So ensuring you have enough zinc can support reproductive health.”
