Buckwheat is actually a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel. It makes a great base for salads or vegetarian burgers (combined with egg, finely chopped veggies and some cheese to desire) or prepare as a risotto style dish.

Cooking Method: Use 50-75g of buckwheat per person. Rinse buckwheat thoroughly in a sieve. Place both buckwheat, 100ml of water per 50g of buckwheat and a pinch of salt in a large pan. Bring to the boil, lower the heat, simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally and skimming off any foam. Turn off the heat, cover and let sit for 4-5 minutes. Fluff up with a fork and use as required. STORE IN A COOL DARK PLACE. ONCE OPENED, STORE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER.
May contain traces of nuts, peanuts and sesame.
